GCA has been in the airplane tourism industry longer than most of the competition combined. Over the years, they have voluntarily upgraded their aircraft and equipment not only in the interest of passenger experience, but also in the interest of the Canyon itself. Advantages of Grand Canyon Airlines

• Because of the special conditions needed with fixed-wing aircraft, there are only three different tour options available at the Grand Canyon.
• Tour options are either extremely short (45-50 minutes for the Grand Discovery Tour) or all day long (12.5 hours for the Grand Canyon River Adventure or Smooth Water Float Trip)
• There are no toilet facilities onboard the plane.
