It\u2019s among the most popular restaurants in the neighborhood for its breadth of selections and affordability. Originally built in the 1960s modern style but updated to reflect a more contemporary southwestern aesthetic, Maswik Food Court is comfortable and welcoming. You\u2019ll find exposed wood beams, stonework pillars, and quirky light fixtures with a bit of flair (for example, there are some lights made of triangular shapes and bits of metal).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because the food is served cafeteria-style from a few different stations, seating is similar to what you\u2019d find in a typical food court \u2013 open and plentiful. If you\u2019re looking for something with table service, you\u2019re better off hitting up the nearby Maswik Pizza Pub<\/strong>, a type of sports bar-like atmosphere serving up tasty fare. That said, the vibe here is casual and relaxed, so you\u2019ll find a lot of families dining here on most days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maswik offers various types of meals throughout the day during their generous operating hours, 6:00 am \u2013 10:00 pm. In the mornings, you\u2019ll find a selection of hot and cold breakfast items, plus the all-important endless coffee. You\u2019ll even find healthy options like the egg white omelets and turkey sausage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later in the day, choose from several home-style lunch and dinner options, including burgers, deli sandwiches, and hot sandwiches as well. These food offerings are sorted into four different stations: sandwiches; hot food & sides; burgers & hot sandwiches; and pizza & pasta. Popular items include grilled cheese, pot pie, and sides like mac \u2018n cheese and mashed potatoes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Food is first-come, first-served, and is very affordable compared to some of the other restaurants in the area \u2013 particularly the high-end ones. There aren\u2019t any specials or alcoholic beverages served at this establishment, although again, the nearby Maswik Pizza Pub is a great option if that\u2019s what you\u2019re in the mood for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

Located near Maswik Lodge<\/a> in Grand Canyon Village<\/a>, Maswik Food Court is near a number of other hotels and attractions. It\u2019s actually a bit back from the main path, but its affordability and popularity means that it won\u2019t really ever be quiet during the busy season. Other things to do in the area include hiking the Bright Angel Trail, observing the canyon from Lookout Studio, shopping at the Kolb Studio & Park Store, and scoping out Hopi House.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
