Williams La Quinta Inn & Suites Ambiance

This moderately-priced hotel is another terrific offering from the La Quinta hotel chain. The exterior has that same southwestern flair as much of the city’s lodging options, but the interior of the lobby and public spaces bring something a little extra to the table. You’ll be treating to visually appealing vignettes of brightly-colored carpets, neutral furniture, and striking accessories. Their use of color certainly isn’t shy, and while it may seem loud to some, it really is a nice bit of artistic expression.

The breakfast room and other public spaces are generous, with plenty of room to move about even on the busiest early mornings before everyone heads off the Grand Canyon or other nearby attractions. Staff is well-known for being incredibly friendly, and the location just off the main drag in Williams makes for a quiet night’s sleep, too.

Williams La Quinta Inn Rooms

This La Quinta boasts 68 rooms, making it a moderately-sized hotel spread across just three stories. All of the rooms are comfortable and efficient, with delectable pillow-top beds. There is actually a wide variety of available room types, too, so you’ll find suitable accommodations regardless of the size of your party and any accessibility needs you may have.

Room types include a room with 2 queen beds, 1 king bed (both of which also come with a balcony or patio option), 1 Executive king bed (which is essentially a larger space), 1 king bed with sleeper sofa, a few 2-room suite varieties, and ADA accessible rooms in several different sizes. The balcony or patio options are particularly nicely in the spring and summer months, when you’ll want to take advantage of the weather to kick back with the family.

All rooms come equipped with that amazing pillowtop mattress, essentials like an alarm clock, a phone (with free local calls), and an ironing board and iron. Everyone will appreciate the large, 40-inch flat screen TV that comes with several premium cable channels, perfect for unwinding at night or watching the early morning news. There’s also a coffee maker to help make mornings go a little bit smoother, and a microwave and mini-fridge to store snacks or bottled water.

The décor in the rooms is bright and assertive without being overwhelming. Expect bright purple accent walls alongside a chic black and white carpet and cool, sea-blue curtains. The furniture is basic but in great shape, with a dark wood color and chrome fixtures. Lighting is plentiful and visually engaging. Most rooms also come with a desk, and select room types come with a sofa (a sleeper sofa, no less), which is great for relaxing or unpacking without needing to be all over the bed.

Bathrooms are sleek and modern, with large mirrors, spacious showers, and good water pressure. You’ll enjoy complimentary toiletries, fluffy towels, and good lighting, too.

It’s modest in size but well-stocked with a treadmill, ellipticals, and even a TV for entertainment while you slog through those early morning miles. Plus, the brightly-colored walls are a great way to stay energetic through a workout!

Everyone in the family will enjoy the indoor heated pool, perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring the Grand Canyon, or just a way to enjoy a day off. There’s also a hot tub for something extra fun for the kids or special for the adults.
