Cowgirl Coffee Cake Co – Williams Restaurant

Cowgirl Coffee Cake Co. is the brainchild of renowned food-industry veterans Leighton Wildrick (a trained butcher and meat-processing expert) and Tanna Wagenmann (a graduate of the acclaimed Culinary Institute of America). Natives of Philadelphia, the pair recently retired to Arizona, only to decide that they were not quite ready to put their feet up just yet after all. As a result, they joined forces to open this acclaimed Williams spot that serves delicious pastries and fantastic burgers/sandwiches at reasonable prices.

Cowgirl Coffee Cake Ambiance

The inside of the shop is lined with warm, knotty planks of pine. Numerous works of funky artwork grace these colorful walls. A recent renovation has created a small seating area in the front. It’s the perfect place to stare longingly at the glass cases full of delectable treats while you wonder what you want to try next. The bakery is located on-site, directly behind the main counter.

The patio at Cowgirl Coffee Cake Co. is really the place to be. This charming outdoor seating area is a clean and comfy. Its well-spaced tables feature bright and cheerful Southwestern art-inspired umbrellas. Cute rows of potted plants and tiny firs sit in decorative planters that intermittently line the seating area.

Directly next to the front entrance is a large mural of, you guessed it, a cheerful cowgirl holding up a delicious-looking pastry cake and a pot of coffee. This wall-size painting, captioned with the phrase “Greetings from Williams, Arizona,” is the perfect place to snag that souvenir snapshot before or after enjoying your meal/snack. It’s like creating your very own postcard!

Make sure to try it with the sidewinder fries—they’re likely to be some of the most uniquely shaped, delicious-tasting fries you’ve ever had!

Another lunch staple is the Ranch Hand B.L.T. This grilled goodie features an enormous pile of Applewood-smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayo, also served with house sidewinder fries. The fried-chicken sandwich is a great choice, too.
