Fiesta Mexicana – Page Restaurant

Fiesta Mexicana is owned and operated by the husband-and-wife duo of Martin and Patricia Rangel. In the early 1980s, Martin and Patricia moved from their home in the Mexican state of Jalisco to the United States. After working in a number of different fields for many years, the pair decided to open a restaurant based on their beloved traditional family recipes. Today Martin and Patricia own and run nine different Fiesta Mexicana restaurants across five Western states.

Fiesta Mexicana Ambiance

Fiesta Mexicana is located South Lake Powell Boulevard, one of the major roads running through the heart of rustic Page, Arizona. The building’s design itself is Southwestern-inspired; the restaurant’s exterior resembles a classic adobe house, and is painted an eye-catching pinkish-orange and teal. A covered patio sits at the front of the structure; it is a great spot to enjoy a meal—but seats here do fill up in a hurry on a nice day.

The inside of the restaurant is even more colorful than the outside. The overall atmosphere here is unabashedly festive and lively. The interior décor is a feast for the eyes: bright curtains hang from the windows; statues of cacti and horses adorn the walls; and the individual tables and chairs have to be seen to be believed, as each set is practically its own, vividly colored work of Southwestern US/Mexican art.

Fiesta Mexicana Food

Every meal at Fiesta Mexicana begins with complimentary chips and salsa. The chips are tasty, and the salsa has some kick to it, but make sure not to fill-up too much on the freebies, as the menu here at Fiesta Mexicana is huge, and the entrees themselves are even bigger!

Lunch is served Monday through Friday from 11:00am to 3:00pm. Highlights during this time period include the assortment of “lunch specials” available. These sizable entrees are all under $10 a piece; favorites include classics like carne asada and chile verde, as well as more daring fare like camarones a la fiesta—bacon-wrapped prawns presented in a vegetable sauce!

The dinner menu is massive, meaning no matter what Mexican- and/or Southwest-inspired dish you are in the mood for, you are likely to find it here. Particular favorites are the tampiquena chicken and tacos de pescado, but you can also take your pick of a large variety of tacos, burritos, enchiladas, assorted seafood dishes, and more. If you are in the mood for something even more special and/or romantic, consider choosing something from Fiesta Mexicana’s “Dinner Para Dos” menu. These selections will set you back a pretty penny, but they’ll make your meal one you’ll likely never forget.

There are also special kids and dessert menus available at Fiesta Mexicana. Options for children here include dishes like a bean-and-cheese burrito, hamburger/cheeseburger, quesadilla, taco, chicken fingers, and more. Dessert options include treats such as deep-fried ice cream, flan, sopapillas, churros, and more.

Fiesta Mexicana Details

Prices at Fiesta Mexicana are on the higher side for your average chain Mexican restaurant; however, they are still fairly comparable to other establishments in this part of Page. In particular, though, many travelers note that margarita prices are not listed on the menu here, as the price of this popular drink varies depending on the type of alcohol you have yours made with. This is something to keep in mind as you are ordering your refreshing beverage of choice at Fiesta Mexicana.

Fiesta Mexicana utilizes “call-ahead seating,” meaning that if you call the restaurant ahead of your visit, the host or hostess will add your name to the waitlist, and provide you with an estimated time of arrival for your meal. They also host special events at Fiesta Mexicana, so if you are looking for a pleasant place to throw that birthday party or hold a corporate meeting, call to inquire about availability.

Finally, many visitors to Fiesta Mexicana note that this popular establishment’s on-site parking lot is not very big. As a result, many evenings when the restaurant is rather busy the lot gets full in a hurry. If you encounter this situation, your best bet for parking is one of the hotels/restaurants located directly next to Fiesta Mexicana.
