Red Rock Canyon Tour Major Highlights

Las Vegas Strip: Pink Adventure Tours Las Vegas provides its guests with pick-up and drop-off service from most of the major hotels located along the Las Vegas Strip. Even as you drive out of town into the nearby hills, you’ll have some chances to snap a classic photo or two as you ride along.

Red Rock Canyon Visitor Center: Your tour will include a stop at the Red Rock Canyon Visitor Center. There you’ll find an array of fascinating exhibits featuring everything from panels on the history of the area, samples of plant wildlife found in/around the Canyon, and an actual desert tortoise habitat! There’s also a small shop located here that sells a variety of souvenirs, snacks, and beverages.

Wilson Cliffs: A memorable portion of the beautiful region known as the Keystone Thrust, this area features cliffs rising some 3,000 or so feet high. It is a very popular destination for hikers and rock climbers, and is home to many different colorful rock formations, as well as a series of ancient tribal rock art.

Spring Mountains: The Spring Mountains are a mountain range found in the area that include some of the greatest stretches of biodiversity in the entire state of Nevada; it is believed that hundreds of different plant species grow in this part of Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area alone. Particular highlights include the Ponderosa Pine forests found here.

Calico Hills: These unforgettable rock formations have to be seen to be believed. Locals call them the Calico Hills because they seem to change color as the light hits them in different ways throughout the day. Whether you look at them and see red, pink, orange, yellow, or something else entirely—this beautiful landscape is not to be missed.
