Just five miles south of Grand Canyon Village, this buffet-style establishment serves classic American fare with the occasional fun Southwestern twist. Whether you stop by during the morning or early afternoon, the Navajo Room makes for a quick, simple, and pleasant dining experience.

Navajo Room Ambiance

This no-frills space is an excellent place to begin your day of Arizona adventuring with a hearty, all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast, or to grab a quick, straightforward lunch on your way to the wonders of Grand Canyon Village and the South Rim. Simply walk into the restaurant, pay the all-you-can-eat price, and help yourself to as much grub as you want, sitting at whatever comfortable table you so desire.

The layout here is simple and clean. The décor is an inviting mixture of dark hardwoods and colorful design patterns evocative of classic Southwestern artworks. The air is casual, the staff is friendly, and there is plenty of seating available. You’ll be at ease in this space in no time at all.

Navajo Room Food

Whether you are staying in Tusayan, or just passing through town on your way to the South Rim, this large buffet is a superb option. The Navajo Room has just about anything you could possibly want to begin your day of sightseeing and/or hiking right.

The Navajo Room’s selections are extensive and varied, including such breakfast essentials as fruit, yogurt, cereal, scrambled eggs, sausages, biscuits and gravy, orange juice, coffee, and tea. Particular favorites here are the fresh omelets cooked to your exact specifications, as well as the make-your-own waffle station. Cakes and various pastries are even available for dessert.

Navajo Room Details

The breakfast buffet is served between the hours of 6:30am and 9:30am, while lunch takes place 11:00am to 2:00pm. Expect prices comparable to the Grand Canyon tourist-dining experience, but the entire operation is all-you-can-eat, and to-go boxes are available. Some gluten-free items are available on request. The buffet is of course first-come, first-served, but it is also frequently refreshed.
